If your goal is realism then youre going the wrong direction. It does have a unique interface and controls, and as a result, a unique sound in my opinion. Its a nice change of pace from the standard ADSR, LFO, wave shape, and filter properties of analog synth models. For realistic strings, I use Miroslav Philharmonik and the Vienna library in Kontakt (both are sampled). When I occasionally use it in a song, I use the VST Sampler function in Direct Wave to get the sounds level 1 1 point 3 years ago You could just get Sonatina samples.
